1. Aims

Compliance Suite Test School 2 (ENG-292) aims to ensure that appropriate action is taken in a timely manner to safeguard and promote children's welfare, and that all staff are aware of their statutory responsibilities.

2. Legislation and statutory guidance

This policy is based on the Department for Education's statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education (2026) and Working Together to Safeguard Children (2023).

4. Reporting a concern

If you are worried about a child, speak to the DSL straight away or call the school office on 01632 960102. In an emergency, call 999.

5. Training

All staff receive safeguarding and child protection training at induction, with annual updates.
